Climate Change - United Kingdom (UK)
In 2004, the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology issued a report outlining the impact of climate change on UK health. Malaria is expected to be re-established in the UK. An extra 10,000 cases of food poisoning is also predicted.

In a CO2 emission worst-case scenatio, the sea levels around the UK could rise as much as 60-80 cm. Flooding of low lying areas would be a possibility as would the damage caused by severe storms.
Rising Sea Levels
Though the growing season is eapected to increase by 3 weeks for each 1°C rise in temperature, the likelyhood of severe droughts may lead to a general drop in food production. A drop in summer percipitation by 2080 of 20-40% is predicted .
Food Production
The Royal Horticultural Society have produced a fine report on the likely changes to the UK weather by 2080. The report predict that by the 2080s the southern England will be 4°C hotter in the summer and 3°C warmer in winter.
