Global warming is caused by human activity. In particularly the western world live very carbon intensive lives. Collectively we daily produce vast amounts of CO2, which is damaging the planet and causing climate change.

Burning of fossil fuels for electricity generation so that we can make toast, heat our homes, play video games, generate hot water etc.
Who are to blame?
It is possible to blame it on the airlines and UK industry. They are responsible for some of the emissions. However, the fact is that we all are responsible for the 722.3 million tonnes CO2 equivalent produced by the UK every year through our 'Domestic' energy use and our 'Transport' activities.
What does Transport activities cover?
Transport activities cover a range of daily tasks such as travelling to work, visiting an out of town shopping centre, visiting family etc.
Many people across the world lack carbon awareness. Electrical equipment on stand-by is just one significant source of CO2 emission, which most individuals know nothing about.
