Brown and Gore warming partnership
In a surprise announcement, Gordon Brown has confirmed that Al Gore, the former US vice-president, and a leading advocate for tackling climate change, has agreed to act as his advisor.
It is expected that one of Al Gore's first tasks will be to 'sell' the Stern Report in the USA, where the Bush administration so far has failed to acknowledge that global warming is happening and that it is man-made.
