Can nuclear power stop global warming
On the 12th July 2006, the Government released its long awaited 2006 energy review, which paved the way for a new generation of nuclear power stations.

Looking at the CO2 emissions only, it remains a fact that nuclear energy produces significantly less CO2 compared to the normal fossil fuels, which long term will help combat global warming and help towards the UK Kyoto emission target.
