The G8 leaders recently announced a major breakthrough on climate change because they manage to agree a final text suggesting that G8 nations would seek “significant” reductions in CO2 emission.
The sad fact remains that global warming waits for no-one and that the G8 summit, due to it failure to save as much as 1 extra kilo of greenhouse gases, moved the planet another step closer towards the point of no return, where climate change will wreak havoc with our blue plant and everything on it.
